Genopets is a move-to-earn Web3 game that blends fitness, self-care, and crypto.
To launch Genopets on Apple Vision Pro, I led all marketing efforts—from a cinematic mixed-reality trailer to App Store assets and a one-pager for Apple. The campaign positioned Genopets as one of the first blockchain games on Vision Pro and showcased how AR can deepen the bond between players and their digital pet.
Role
I took full ownership of the campaign, crafting every marketing asset tied to the launch:
Concepted, storyboarded, directed, filmed, edited, and produced the Vision Pro trailer
Designed the one-pager sent to Apple as part of the rollout
Created all Vision Pro App Store assets and graphics
Collaborated with the product team to align on messaging and release timing
Tailored campaign messaging for both existing players and new audiences
Challenge
We weren’t expecting to acquire a wave of new users—Vision Pro is expensive and experimental. But our Director of Product saw an easy opportunity: since Genopets was already built in Unity with 3D assets, we could bring it to the headset with minimal dev time.
The challenge was figuring out how to tell that story:
How do you introduce Genopets and explain its value on Vision Pro—all in a way that feels exciting and cinematic, without overwhelming viewers unfamiliar with Web3?
Solution
I designed the trailer to tell a layered story. It opens with a familiar moment—viewing your Genopet on a phone—before revealing the AR version floating in your living room via Vision Pro. That hook grabs attention and sets up the rest of the narrative: how Genopets makes staying active fun, and how Vision Pro offers a new, more immersive way to bond with your pet.
The trailer leaned into real-world gameplay footage, spatial visuals, and cinematic pacing. I built the storyline to guide both new viewers and longtime players through the experience.
